Rhetoric Class Offerings
DSCS is more clearly defined as a university style
environment. Students must take a prescribed liberal arts course of study. All
assignments, tests, quizzes and projects are graded by the instructor.
Rigorous standards are held for both academic accomplishments and personal
conduct. All high school tutors hold a master’s degree and hold or are working
toward a PhD.
Subject Requirements and Grading Schema
Yearly promotion is based exclusively on tests and
quiz scores. All tests and quizzes are proctored on campus. Promotion
in math and Latin require tests scores of 80 %. Promotion in all other
subjects requires tests scores of 70%. Transcript grades are the composite
average. Composite averages are determined by tests, quizzes, homework, class
participation (where applicable), binder, research projects, and other assigned
course work. Test and quiz scores provide an accurate assessment of the
student’s knowledge in a given subject. Composite averages provide an
assessment of the student’s work ethic and desire to be educated.
